it’s hard to think on your own
think back to the other day
when she asked:
what’s the opposite
of a pufferfish?
& instead of butt-cheek,
sponge, or sea-slug
you shouted:
my name’s not Dave.
consider how this could relate
to other things like yourself,
how you want to write poems
but don’t know what to feed them.
